All about the role:

As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality components for our Fabric Care category. You will work closely with suppliers, R&D, engineering, and purchasing teams to drive quality standards, perform technical assessments, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Your mission is to prevent quality issues before they arise and to lead problem-solving activities when they do. You’ll also be actively involved in supplier development, audits, and product qualification.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence and sustainable quality.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to continuously improve part quality and reduce non-conformities.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead 8D problem-solving processes.

  • Perform supplier audits, process capability assessments, and follow-up visits to ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Support the development and industrialization of new components, working alongside R&D and Engineering teams.

  • Review and validate key process documents such as FMEAs, Control Plans, and Flow Charts.

  • Analyze components returned from the field and support SCR (Service Call Rate) reduction initiatives.

  • Contribute to the homologation of new products and to supplier evaluations in the early stages of new projects.

  • Ensure proactive sharing and implementation of lessons learned across projects and plants.

  • ISO System management, including Internal Audits and Documentation management.

Who you are:

  • A Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or a related technical field – or equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).

  • Experience with electrical and electronic components and their related quality challenges.

  • Proficiency in quality tools and methods such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and statistical process control.

  • Familiarity with measurement tools and techniques.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (min. 2 years).

  • Strong communication skills and cross-collaboration abilities in an international environment.

  • Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).

  • Availability to travel internationally, including visits to suppliers and other Electrolux sites.

Where you’ll be:

You will be based at our Porcia site, in the metropolitan area of Pordenone in Northeast Italy. This dynamic and innovative environment is dedicated to the design, development and testing of leading products such as dishwashers, washing machines, washer-dryers, and tumble dryers.

Benefits include:

  • Flexible work hours/hybrid work model

  • Dynamic and collaborative environment

  • World-class learning opportunities and flexible career path

  • Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services

As part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development. There are no barriers to where your career could take you.
