Our Team
The QA team is responsible for ensuring functionally high quality including performance and scalability of MDM and DQ products. Engineers in the team are responsible for initiating and developing test cases documents participate in reviewes, run and report issues and automate the cases.
Your Opportunity
You will participate in the testing effort of enterprise software. You will test and critique software components and interfaces with great technical depth, write test programs to assure high product quality, and automate them using available framework.

We are looking at hiring aΒ Sr. QAΒ Engineer for the QA team who shall be responsible for conducting the functional tests. You will test and critique software components and interfaces in great technical depth, write test programs to assure high product quality, and develop advanced test tools to increase productivity and efficiency.
Your Responsibilities
β’ Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications
β’ Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities
β’ Design, develop and maintain test programs including test tools and automated test suites
β’ Work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues
β’ Participate in product functional reviews, test specifications, documentation review.
β’ Communicate effectively with developers and QA peers and other stakeholders in the QA organization.
β’ Execute planned testing tasks and provide timely and accurate analysis of findings
β’ Utilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of problems
β’ Demonstrates ability to multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements (such as urgent customer problems). Deliverable reviews have few actions.
β’ Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
β’ Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. Able to communicate or present to the whole product team and occasionally across products. Interacts with and influences other groups on same product and cross product groups.
Your qualifications
β’ BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science OR MCA
β’ 3 to 5 years of software testing experience
β’ Testing experience with eclipse based clients, relational databases and/or Hadoop distributions
β’ Strong working knowledge in Unix/Windows environments.
β’ Good java programming skills.
β’ Good knowledge in writing sql scripts for RDBMS.
β’ Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
β’ Must have a strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
β’ Profiling or Data quality Domain knowledge will be a plus
