SW Test Engineer II

     

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team, having an experience of greater than 2 yrs. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in either C#, Java or Python, possess a basic knowledge of data structures, and have a strong ability to work in a team environment. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test automation scripts\tools to improve our processes and systems, with a strong focus on ensuring product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Automation Solutions: Create and maintain test automation scripts and tools, using either C#, Java or Python to improve efficiency and product quality.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality test automation solutions.

Problem Solving: Debugging, identifying, and troubleshooting issues in test automation, to ensure high-quality software delivery, while providing effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.

Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in either Java, Python or C#.

Data Structures: Utilize basic knowledge of data structures to optimize and enhance automation scripts and tools.

Create Verification Scenarios: Develop and document verification scenarios based on the product requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage and translate them to automation tests

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation engineering and apply this knowledge to improve existing processes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in test automation, with a strong focus on either C#, Java or Python.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in either C#, Java or Python.

Basic knowledge of data structures.

Working experience with Selenium or Robot Framework.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
