Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for the care and feeding of our lab infrastructure. Supporting the deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and monitoring lab environments. Including local build system (source code control, build servers, etc). Provide troubleshooting support to Development, QA and Operations as needed. Participate in the review of requirements and Product Test planning and execution. As necessary, responsible for/participates in overall architecture design, third party hardware and software evaluation and computing platform selection. As necessary, participate on teams involved in cross product solutions and interfaces to other products.

Requirements:

  • Experience with scripting and small-scale software Development (e.g. python, bash)
  • Data Analysis and Visualization (e.g. Python, numpy, matplotlib)
  • Ability to code web sites (e.g. Angular)
  • Understanding of Information Security (e.g. access control lists, identity management, authorization, authentication)Β 
  • Understanding of Database systems (e.g. MariaDB/SQL)
  • Experience with Software Testing (e.g. Selenium)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Linux Systems Administration (RedHat / Oracle Linux 9.x)
  • Experience managing Client/Server and Front-end environment deployments to minimize product development and operations
  • Knowledge and experience in the following languages and technologies: Java, SQL, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, CSS, Perl, Source Control and Configuration Management tools
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong time management skills with a history of meeting commitments.
  • Excellent teaming and collaboration skills, including working with Developers, Testers and Operations staff
  • Self-motivated and continuous learner with ability to increase knowledge and gain experience. In needed areas.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years experience or 8+ years experience.
  • US Citizenship required

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
  • Microsoft Office Word / Excel / PowerPoint
  • Process monitoring and logging and alarming experience
  • Experience testing systems requiring strong data analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with and managing test data, data integrity, quality control, and metric reporting
  • Experience in automation testing. Familiarity with commercially available tools a plus.
  • Experience working and utilizing tools in a continuous improvement environmentΒ 

**Hybrid employees must live within 75 miles of the iconectiv office in Bridgewater, New Jersey, which is the in-person office location where the employee will report when working in-person

At iconectiv, we expect to pay between $80k - $112k for this role. This role is eligible for variable pay (bonus). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, skills, abilities and geographic region.
