What are we looking for?

 

The Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring smooth operation of assigned projects through planning and control and ensures all lubricant tests are performed according to test specifications. They will also monitor tests to result in client satisfaction and business cell profitability.

What you’ll do:

Manages tests to assure conformance with established procedures.
Communicates test status with client personnel as well as management.
Writes reports and summaries to include weekly production report and end-of-test (EOT) log.
Audits all data forms for accuracy and completeness prior to processing by Client Services personnel.
Compiles test data, monitors data for test variance, and takes appropriate corrective action.
Troubleshoots mechanical and instrumentation problems, shares “on-call” responsibilities with supervisor; provides technical assistance during off-duty hours via telephone; responds to on-site assistance requests from supervisory or engineering staff.
Establishes quality control procedures to assure test validity; verifies instrumentation and calibration.
Coordinates reference testing with ASTM/TMC.
