"Job Description: Test Lead – Murex 3.1 (Treasury & Capital Markets)

Role Objective
As the Murex Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading the functional QA delivery for a comprehensive Murex 3.1 implementation. This role requires a strategic leader with deep domain expertise in Treasury operations to manage complex testing lifecycles. You will bridge the gap between the bank's business requirements and the technical configuration of the Murex platform, ensuring that the migration and implementation meet the high standards of the UAE/GCC financial market.

Key Responsibilities
1. QA Strategy & Governance
β€’ Define the Master Test Plan and functional strategy for the Murex rollout, covering SIT, UAT, Regression, and Parallel Run phases.
β€’ Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle validationβ€”from front-office deal capture and risk management to back-office accounting and settlements.
β€’ Act as the primary point of contact for UAE-based stakeholders, providing daily execution heatmaps and risk-mitigation strategies to the SteerCo.
2. Treasury Product Mastery (Conventional & Islamic)
β€’ Lead the validation of a diverse portfolio including FX Derivatives (Options, NDFs), Interest Rate Derivatives (Swaps, Caps/Floors), Fixed Income, and Money Markets.
β€’ Oversee specialized testing for Islamic Treasury (Sharia-Compliant) products used in the UAE, such as Murabaha, Sukuk, and Wa’ad.
β€’ Ensure the system accurately handles profit-sharing logic, Sharia accounting entries, and regional market conventions.
3. Automation Project Management (Preferred)
β€’ Spearhead the transition toward a Continuous Testing model by managing Murex-specific automation initiatives.
β€’ Oversee the selection and implementation of automation tools (e.g., Onyx, Selenium, or bespoke Python frameworks) to optimize regression cycles.
