"Job Description: Test Lead – Mobile Banking & Digital Payments

Role Objective
As the Test Lead for Mobile Banking, you will spearhead the quality assurance efforts for the bank’s next-generation mobile application. This role sits at the intersection of User Experience (UX) and Complex Core Banking Backend Integrations. You will be responsible for ensuring a flawless, secure, and high-performance mobile experience for customers in the UAE and wider GCC region, with a specific focus on seamless international payment journeys.

Key Responsibilities
1. Mobile Application Governance
β€’ Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for the iOS and Android mobile banking platforms.
β€’ Manage specialized testing tracks, including Omni-channel synchronization, Biometric authentication (FaceID/TouchID), and Push Notification reliability.
β€’ Oversee Usability (UX) Testing to ensure the app meets the high expectations of the GCC consumer market.
β€’ Experience of managing mobile automation and delivering successful ROI.
2. Payments & SWIFT Integration
β€’ Act as the functional lead for Mobile Payments, specifically the ""International Transfer"" module.
β€’ Validate the integration between the Mobile App and the SWIFT application for real-time FCY (Foreign Currency) transfers.
β€’ Ensure accurate handling of multi-currency wallets, exchange rate API fetching, and compliance with ISO 20022 messaging standards for mobile-initiated trades.
β€’ Test localized payment rails such as Aani (UAE), Nafath/Absher (KSA), and regional wallet integrations.
3. Security & Performance Oversight
β€’ Coordinate with security teams to validate Mobile App Shielding, SSL Pinning, and Data Encryption at rest and in transit.
β€’ Manage Network Latency Testing (3G/4G/5G/Wi-Fi) and device compatibility testing across a fragmented mobile landscape using tools like BrowserStack
