Test Manager – Insurance Sector (Dutch Speaking) – Antwerp (On-site)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join a leading insurance company based in Antwerp. This role requires a proactive leader who can oversee end-to-end testing activities in a complex environment.

Dutch fluency and regular on-site presence in Antwerp are essential.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall testing strategy aligned with project goals.
• Lead and coordinate a team of Test Analysts and Testers.
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Manage test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Implement best practices in manual and automated testing processes.
• Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Report regularly to stakeholders on testing progress and quality metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Test Manager in insurance, banking, or a similarly regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of test methodologies, quality processes, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch (both written and spoken); professional English is a plus.
• Willing and able to work on-site in Antwerp several days a week.
• Experience with test automation and tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, HP ALM) is a strong advantage.
• ISTQB certification is preferred.
