Test Manager (m/f/d)
In your role as Test Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for supporting development of a test organisation with efficient use of all available resources.
Your tasks
- Managing a verification team
- Distribute tasks to internal and external teams and coordinate their work
- Present reports to management (PPM, Stream Leads, Global projectmanager) Critical questions regarding schedules and budget are also to be expected. The chosen strategy must be explained and defended
- Developing strategies for efficient testing in a high-pressure project, taking into account quality and deadline pressure
- Controlling the defined processes and quality gates. The challenge here is to take account of different process landscapes and cultures and, on the other hand, to work together on a product
- Training all internal and external team members to understand the required processes. This requires in-depth knowledge of the processes and tools
- Definition of metrics for tracking progress
- Supporting the overall defect management processes (reporting and analysis)
- Close coordination with stakeholders regarding project progress and the deployment of internal and external employees
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in a technical or business field or relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in testing embedded software systems
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of test management and/or project management
- Basic programming experience
- Knowledge of HIL and SIL
- Experience in using Matlab in conjunction with Simscape or Simulink to support test activities
- Experience in development/testing of safety-related systems, e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262 or IEC 62304
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German language is an advantage
