QA Manager

Stefanutti Stocks Inland is seeking a qualified Electrical QA Manager to ensure all electrical installations comply with company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will oversee quality inspections, testing, and compliance processes to ensure safe, accurate, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspections & Testing: Conduct visual inspections and functional testing of electrical systems (e.g., wiring, lighting, switchgear, panels) to verify compliance with electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
• Documentation: Review electrical designs, blueprints, and project specifications; maintain detailed inspection logs, test reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Quality Planning: Develop and implement electrical quality control procedures, checklists, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Supplier/Vendor Quality: Audit incoming electrical materials and components to ensure they meet project standards.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local regulations) and project safety plans.
• Corrective Actions: Identify defects, initiate corrective actions, and verify that repairs are completed effectively.
• Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly quality reports for project management and clients.

Common Duties Breakdown:

• Pre-Installation: Review material submittals, inspect materials upon arrival, and review installation drawings.
• During Installation: Monitor cable pulling, terminations, and equipment installation to prevent damage.
• Post-Installation: Perform continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and final functionality tests to ensure systems operate safely.
  

Qualifications:

• Diploma - Electrical Engineering (Essential)
• Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or electrical licensing are highly valued.

Experience:

• 5+ Years proven experience in electrical inspection, testing, or quality control
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, electrical testing equipment & NEC/IEC
